Lottery Game Payouts:

This cap ensures compliance with the NSW Community Gaming Act and helps maintain the financial sustainability of our games.
Trade Promotion:
Our trade promotion operates under a permit and adheres to the regulations set out in the Community Gaming Act and Regulation. However, it is governed by a distinct set of terms and conditions. Unlike our draw lottery games, our trade promotion does not have a predetermined upper limit on prize values. The amounts awarded as prizes are influenced by our marketing budget, which in turn depends on the total entry sales and Participant engagement for each promotional event. This flexible prize structure allows us to create dynamic and appealing opportunities for Participants, tailored to the success and scale of each promotion.
- Compliance and Regulation
This draw lottery complies with the Community Gaming Act NSW 2018 and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 under the oversight of the NSW State Government.
- Lottery Operator
- Lottery Management
Givtu Ltd (ABN 93 649 444 057) is a registered charity listed with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Givtu conducts charitable fundraising activities including raffle lotteries, art unions, and trade promotions, both to raise funds for charitable causes and to promote the Givtu brand and its mission. All operations are conducted in accordance with relevant Commonwealth and State legislation, ensuring compliance, transparency, and integrity.
- Charitable Status and Beneficiary of Lottery Proceeds
Participant-Centric Operations: As a registered charity, Givtu conducts all lottery activities with a focus on benefiting our Participants, charities and the broader community, ensuring that each Participant's involvement supports a wide range of philanthropic activities. Givtu is a registered charity and serves as the primary beneficiary of the Givtu Charity Lottery game. This authority enables us to conduct our charitable mission - not just about conducting draw lotteries but more importantly supporting a broad range of philanthropic activities, including making donations to various other charitable organisations and NFP causes. A portion of the Proceeds from the lotteries is allocated by Givtu to support charitable objectives, which include, but are not limited to, community development projects, the environment, urgent emergency relief, educational initiatives, and health and welfare programs. Where possible, Givtu will align with local initiatives such as, in the case of NSW, the "Restart" program to multiply the benefits a community may receive. Givtu's mission is to support charities that we believe can save or improve the greatest number of lives per dollar deployed.
Our Givtu draw lotteries do more than just fund charitable activities; they transform Grand Prize winners into philanthropists. Each winner not only celebrates their victory but also receives the distinct honour of directing a significant donation to a charity of their choice, courtesy of Givtu. This integral feature of our lottery amplifies the impact of each win, aligning it with our mission to support a diverse range of charitable causes. Under Givtu's guidance, winners choose beneficiary charities, ensuring their selections comply with legal and regulatory standards while reflecting our values and goals. This process empowers winners to turn their moment of luck into lasting benefits for others and allows Givtu to broaden the impact of lottery Proceeds. By supporting a variety of causes that resonate with our Participants and winners, our transparent and thoughtful approach ensures that every entry in the Givtu Charity Lottery contributes meaningfully to making a positive difference in our communities and beyond.
Grand Prize winners will also receive a recorded Zoom call to discuss their chosen cause and may be required to verify their credentials during the interview.

Reveal Process
Our 'Reveal' process is designed solely for entertainment and occurs during the draw events. It aims to enhance participant engagement by adding elements of anticipation and excitement. While this process is intended to mirror the true results and augment the enjoyment of the game, it does not influence the actual outcomes of the draws. On rare occasions, there may be instances where a tile or element might not appear as expected on the reveal page. We want to assure all participants that such discrepancies, if they occur, have no impact on the actual results of the draw. The authentic and historical record of all winnings and outcomes is meticulously maintained and can always be verified in the "Payments and History" section under 'Games' or 'Claims'. This section remains the definitive source for all game results, ensuring that the integrity of the official draw process is upheld and accessible at all times.

The maximum size for each game will be clearly stated as a "20,000 entry game" and so on. This ensures that each entry has an equal probability of selection. The final draw outcome is determined from this thoroughly mixed pool, guaranteeing fairness and transparency in the selection process.

The integrity of the draw is verified through an audit process aligned with ISO/IEC27005, ensuring compliance with industry best practices for randomization. This verification includes:
- Documenting the draw procedure, detailing the shuffle and selection methodology.
- Statistical testing, using methods such as the Chi-Square Test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, and Monte Carlo Simulations, to confirm that the selection process adheres to expected randomness properties.
- Ensuring traceability and reproducibility, demonstrating that the draw process is fair, transparent, and independently verifiable.
The draw takes place on Wednesdays, and Fridays every week from 6:00 p.m. (AEST) at the Givtu office at Level 1, 145 William Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010. Givtu may also announce or publish the initials and suburb or town of the Grand Prize winners in any media, including Givtu's website.
Minor Prizes:
All Participants play in the minor prize draw, the winning tickets are drawn in descending order of prize value. Givtu's decision as to the result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All minor prize winners will receive a notification on their personal Givtu Dashboard.

To thank all raffle Participants for their philanthropy; each entry entitles a player to automatically be entered into the Player Loyalty draw, which takes place after the Prize Draws, for a chance to receive more Fortune Keys for free. Make sure you're eligible.
Players' Project:
Givtu is committed to creating meaningful interactions between our Participants and the communities we support. A future innovation currently termed the 'Players' Project' offers Participants a unique opportunity to directly influence the support provided to various charities. Each month, you will have the chance to vote for charities that align with specific themes or urgent needs. Payment
Our local payment gateway services are provided directly by IPSI Pty Ltd ('IPSI') supported by the globally integrated Till Payments Solutions Pty Ltd. Givtu does not store your card details; instead, we retain only the special purpose tokenised authority issued by our gateway provider.
Single game: Other than for single game Loyalty Keys awarded, Participants who enter our game with a single transaction may purchase multiple entries, thereby increasing their chances of winning. However, such entries, regardless of the number of entries, will not qualify for trade promotion keys.
Multi games: Our Multi offering controls excessive gaming, eases regular giving while focusing on the nobility of giving. To maintain eligibility for the Fortune Lottery, Participants are encouraged to stay in touch and actively engage with Givtu's charitable initiatives, aligning with our mission of fostering a philanthropy-invested community.
- If approved for use in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may set up our Multi facility at the time that you offer to purchase an entry in a Givtu Charity Lottery game, provided that you keep your payment card details up to date.
- How to set up a Multi is explained on the Website.
- If you activate your Multi, your selection of entries that you have nominated to purchase using Multi will continue until further notice, or until you modify or stop your renewal of the Multi Facility using the Website.
- Multi can be cancelled or deactivated at any time the Participant wishes.
- Customisable Limits: Participants can set their own contribution limits within the Multi system, ensuring that their support aligns with their personal financial comfort levels. Givtu provides for a maximum of $250 per game unless we run an extraordinary call-out for a special purpose fundraising event such as an emergency appeal.
- Participants who purchase single entries and have previously participated in Multi games will receive Fortune Keys for those single entries, provided they continue to meet the participation requirements outlined in the terms and conditions.
- Single entries purchased before signing up for multi-games do not earn active Fortune Keys. Participants may receive bonus Fortune Keys that will remain active if they are upgraded to Multi status. This ensures that all Participants have a chance to benefit from the additional rewards, but only those who commit to loyalty can maintain their Fortune Keys.
- Payment Processing via Our Gateway: Payments for the Multi subscription are processed through IPSI. By subscribing, you agree to the terms and conditions associated with this gateway.
- Debiting Your Nominated Payment Card: Your payment card, when registered with the IPSI payment gateway, will be automatically debited in the week following the fourth Fortune Draw in which you participate. This debit covers your participation in two charity draws per week, spanning four weeks. If the initial payment attempt fails, additional attempts will be made before we reach out to resolve the issue.
- Cost of Entries: The price charged for entries purchased through Multi will be based on their cost at the time of automatic purchase.
- Authorisation to Charge Your Card: By setting up the Multi Facility, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment card for the cost of the entries you have selected via Multi.
- Card Statement Description: Charges to your card will appear on your statement as 'Givtu - A Game for Good' along with the total value of your nominated entries.
- Up-to-Date Card Details: Your purchase of a draw lottery entry will not be processed if the payment card details linked to your IPSI account are outdated.
- Multi Suspension or Cancellation: Your participation in the draws and your Fortune Keys may be suspended or forfeited if multiple payment attempts are rejected.
- Givtu prioritises the security of your personal information. Please note that we do not store your card details on our systems. Instead, these are securely managed by our payment gateway provider, IPSI. IPSI employs advanced encryption and secure formatting methods to ensure the safety of your data for recurring payments.
- Notifications and sequences
- Each time we process your offer to purchase an entry via Multi for a particular set of Givtu charity draws, we will send you an email telling you the order details and other details relating to your entry into that draw and update your personal dashboard.
- Renewal: We will give you notice by email if your offer to purchase a renewal entry via Multi is not accepted.
- If possible, we will notify you by email of any anomalies that may arise because of a computer system failure which may lead to the non-purchase of an entry via the Multi Facility.
- Entries are sold in sequence and your ticket numbers cannot be individually chosen.
- Your Responsibilities:
- Email Address Updates: You are required to promptly inform us of any changes to your designated email address. It is crucial to ensure your email address is current at all times;
- Managing your Multi: At any point, you have the liberty to alter or choose not to renew your Multi. To do this, refer to the guidelines provided on our website;
- Account Management: You hold the sole responsibility for overseeing your Accounts. If you foresee any changes in your circumstances, it's up to you to make the necessary arrangements in advance to terminate your account or Multi. We won't be responsible for updating you on your current status; and
- Regarding Fortune Keys: While you are enrolled in the Multi Facility, you may receive additional Fortune Keys throughout the game, until the jackpot event occurs. If you decide to cancel or not renew your Multi, any Fortune Keys that you currently have will lose their Immortal status and cannot be recovered.
- For the avoidance of doubt, Clause 5 (below) of these Terms of Use applies to all entries purchased or sought to be purchased using Multi.

Compliance
Ensuring the legitimacy of online payments can be a complex task as it involves multiple factors, both from the payer's and the payee's perspectives. Here are a few ways we, and our gateway payment provider, enhance the security of online payments:
- Use Secure Payment Gateways: We rely on trusted payment gateway IPSI, which have robust security measures in place to protect you against fraudulent transactions. They use encryption and tokenisation to ensure card information is securely transmitted and stored.
- SSL Certificates: We ensure that the website you're using to make a payment has an SSL certificate, indicated by the 'https' and a padlock icon in the URL. This encrypts data sent between the website and the Participant.
- Card Verification Value (CVV) Verification: Requiring the CVV code from the back of a payment card helps to verify that the actual card is in the Participant's possession during the transaction.
- Fraud Detection Tools: Our payment processor offers fraud detection tools that can identify suspicious activity, such as multiple transactions in a short time, or transactions from locations that are unusual for the cardholder.
- PCI-DSS Compliance: Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) is a set of security standards designed to ensure that all companies that accept, process, store, or transmit payment card information maintain a secure environment. SECTION 6. Responsible Gaming
A Game of Chance for a Greater Good
Most people enjoy games of chance for fun and entertainment. However, we recognize that, for some, gaming can lead to financial and personal distress. At Givtu, while we acknowledge the potential social drawbacks of gaming, we are firmly convinced in the positive impact of reinvesting funds into the community significantly outweighing these concerns.
To promote responsible gaming, Givtu offers an online platform for lottery players to purchase and manage their games responsibly. We actively discourage excessive play and spending beyond one's financial means. Additionally, we enforce a strict maximum weekly spending limit for all players to prevent excessive gambling.
